While focusing on member needs, cooperatives work for the sustainable development of their communities through policies accepted by their members.

CVEC & CoBank are allocating funds to be awarded to up to four Nonprofit organizations within or surrounding CVEC’s service territory. The total amount of the gifts will be up to $15,000, distributed between up to four organizations as the committee sees fit. ($7,500 from Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative and $7,500 from CoBank) Organizations will be selected based on the applications received, as nominated by the CVECares Committee. We could not be prouder to continue improving lives and serving our communities through the Sharing Success Grant!

Guidelines:

  1. Entities applying do not need to be served by or be members of Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative, but the organization’s cause must impact CVEC members. Organizations must reside within or surrounding the geographical boundaries of Canadian Valley’s service territory.

  2. Interested organizations must complete the application in its entirety and submit it by the associated deadline of Sunday, March 1st, 2026, by 11:59 p.m.

  3. A copy of the organization or charity's IRS 501(c)(3) tax exemption must be included with the application. If the applying organization is not a 501(c)(3), please submit the organization's TIN (taxpayer identification number), also referred to as an EIN (employer identification number).

  4. The CVECares Committee will require a field visit if you are selected to proceed in the process. If selected, applicants will be contacted by Friday, March 6th, 2026, to schedule.

  5. Winners of the Sharing Success Grant will be notified by Friday, March 27th, 2026, at the latest.
